Toby’s passion for the landscape is evident in every project he undertakes, blending aesthetics with ecological integrity. A true outdoor enthusiast, Toby spends his free time surfing the waves around the southwest, casting a line as a keen fisherman, and immersing himself in the soothing sounds of soul and blues music. His love for nature and the environment is professional and personal, guiding his commitment to creating sustainable and harmonious landscapes, with his most profound teachings coming from his herd of ruby red devons.

Originally hailing from Canada, Julia has always harboured a deep connection to the land. With a rich background in farming and a dedicated career coordinating non-profit community food systems and environmental programs, Julia has made significant contributions to sustainable agriculture and ecological stewardship. Her passion led her to pursue an MSc in Land & Ecological Restoration at The Eden Project, where her thesis delved into the restoration of species-rich grasslands on former arable land. In her free time, Julia finds joy in observing the intricate beauty of plants in hedgerows, expressing creativity through painting, and embracing the thrill of surfing. Her unwavering commitment to the environment and love for nature is evident in every aspect of her life and work.

Lucy Adams - Marketing & Studio Assistant

Starting at the beginning of 2024, Lucy is our Marketing & Studio Assistant. She brings a strong background in administration and organisation, helping to keep our projects running smoothly. Her role is all about supporting the team. Growing up on a farm, she developed a deep connection with the land from an early age.
